New and Improved Proof Books

Proof Books:  How to Guide

*Please note – there are new options for the Proof Books that can be found under the “Options” button. To access please click on the "Options" button and select "Show Options Palette". The Options palette will now appear as a separate window. In order for full functionality you MUST use the pop-up Options palette.

Options

Step 1:
Click on the “Products” button and choose your desired Proof Book Size.

Step1

Step 2:
Before you drag any images over into the template on the left, add your text and then choose your font, size and color in the “Options” palette.

*If no text is entered, then no text will appear.  This only pertains to areas where text can be manually entered.

Step2

Understanding the HOLD button:
The HOLD button will maintain consistency throughout the pages of your proof book.

Step 3:

When selecting all images to drag over into the template on the left, click on gray area just outside images on the right of your screen and press CTRL-A (for PC) or CTRL-Apple-A (for MAC) for the images to populate sequentially.  If you pick and choose your images, they will populate in the order they are selected.

Step 4:

Please review entire order before submitting.  Proof Books can not be reprinted for improper sequencing.  All orders are final.  Reprints will only be made if error is ours.

The default option for Proof Books is loose pages.  If the bound option is selected (on the Review Order page), your pages will be bound in the order sequence they appear at the Review Order screen.

Important Notes:

When using the background image option, it is easier to place the image in the background by editing the page when at the Review Order stage of your order – after you have added the images to populate sequentially.  This is if you want different images used in the background.  Using the hold button will keep the same image on all pages.

Example:  At the Review Order page, click the dotted square next to the thumbnail page you wish to add an image into the background.

Edit Item

This will allow you to go back to the template to edit.  Click the OPTIONS button and choose the “Pick Your Image in Background”.  Then drag image over into background on template.  You can change the opacity of your background image in the OPTIONS as well.  Then hit the “SAVE” button and return to the Review Order page.
