Mounting is an excellent finishing option if you intend to frame your print or simply put it on display, however, not all materials are the same. Because of its superior resistance to warping, its rigidity, and for its excellent load bearing characteristics, we mount exclusively on Gatorboard^®.

Gatorboard is the original graphic artists foam board. It consists of a rigid polystyrene core of foam laminated between two faces of Luxcell^®, a resin-impregnated wood fiber. It is an excellent choice for professionals.

We offer two thicknesses — 3/16” and 1/2“ both in black. We recommend both for framing or freestanding display however some photographers prefer the more substantial appearance of the 1/2” board.
