The Company

Four years ago, industry veteran Pete Casabonne and marketing veteran Douglas Keeney teamed up to transform a well-respected, old-line professional film lab located in Atlanta Georgia into an online digital photo processor that would serve serious photographers nationwide.

They scrapped the bulky film processing units and moved in sleek servers and racks. They tore out copper phone lines and substituted metroE and offsite collocation facilities. They built PhotoTRAC, a quality control system that precisely tracks and controls the movement of millions of images from the Internet through the lab and back to the customer.

Today, that company is myphotopipe.com. We are one of the fastest growing communities of serious amateur and professional photographers. We work for more than 18,000 serious professionals and have more than 150,000 copies of our software downloaded and in use.

We deliver a level of quality that can only be achieved by a company with a single-minded focus.  You won’t find mouse pads or coffee mugs here. But you will find the products and tools you need to do more and sell more.

  • We are the lab of choice for...

  • NFL teams and NBA teams and MLB teams. and for wedding photographers and landscape photographers and portrait photographers
  • The Department of Homeland Security and movie studios and TV stations and radio stations and for countless elementary schools, high schools and universities.
  • Getty Images’ iStockphoto division, and many other corporations and commercial photographers.

More importantly, we are the lab of choice for you – the tens of thousands of professionals who make a living selling prints to their clients.

Manufacturing Standards

We print 100% of our photographic prints and fine art prints in our national lab. We never send images to contract labs. Your print comes directly from our lab in Atlanta, Georgia.

In addition, we...

  • Hand inspect and hand pack every print we ship.
  • Mount, frame and gallery wrap your prints by hand. We make nothing overseas.
  • Always keep our prices competitive. They have to be.
  • Calibrate our emulsions every time we change a magazine so a print tomorrow looks the same as a print today.
  • Offer over 1,000 combinations of print sizes and surfaces
  • Have six professional  surfaces – Kodak Lustre, Kodak Matte, Kodak Glossy, Fuji Pearl, plus Fine Art and Canvas.
  • Offer four finishing options, all handmade by us in one of our two Georgia plants – mounted on professional Gatorboard, gallery wrapped on pure southern pine, framed or plaque mounted.

Print on canvas

I received my print on canvas last evening and to say the very least, I am extremely pleased with the results. It turned out even better than I had hoped. I was afraid there would not be enough color but it's there. I'm off to have it framed today and then it will take a prominent place in my living room. It will always offer good memories of a long hike in the Smoky Mountain rewarded by a spectacular view of Abrams Falls.

Print and mount

Dear Pete and myphotopipe.com staff,

I have just met with our administrator who returned from the conference in Greenville, SC. He said that the pictures you printed and mounted were amazing and outstanding. He received numerous complements about the wonderful photographs in our display.

Thank you for your hard work and going the extra mile help us to meet this deadline. The credit all belongs to you. You were a pleasure to work with and were more accommodating than any company I have ever dealt with at anytime for any reason. Your prices are more than reasonable, and your quality is top notch.

I look forward to working with you again soon.

Going far beyond the extra mile!

Dear Pete,

I want to express my appreciations to you and your staff for going far beyond the extra mile… No company makes better prints from digital files than myPhotopipe. No company can beat your prices and turn around time from order initiation to order delivery. And no company I've used or know is as friendly and so thoroughly dedicated to customer satisfaction.

12x36 Panoramic print

About 6 years ago, I started doing large size panoramic prints, and I started out having them printed at a local Camera Store here in my home town. A 12x36 print on Photo Paper, (with my VIP discount card) would costs me $66.00. I could not sell those prints anywhere, period. For me to make a profit, I had to charge $100.00 a print. Not going to happen. I begged for a larger discount and was told their cost of paper and ink was just too high to reduce the costs any further, so I started searching online for a printing company and finally settled with a company called http://www.myphotopipe.com. That same 12x36 print WITH shipping now cost me right about $25.00. The quality of prints from MyPhotoPipe is stunning and their shipping and handling process is extremely professional. I have since done all my printing business with them instead of locally. Can you blame me?

"Well here is a digital printing service to check out: myPhotopipe. It's been around a while but is not super well known. If print quality is your objective, definitely give it a try, especially for enlargements and custom projects."

"My favorite photo processor just got even better. Sit tight and let me tell you the story of myLove for myPhotopipe.com - then we’ll get to the new FolioPrints."

DP Review
"The quality of prints from myPhotopipe is stunning."

Photography Bay
"The print quality that you get from SmugMug is surprisingly good. Printing is outsourced through EZ Prints and you get the option to use auto-enhancing or your own true color adjustments. It’s not on par with the likes of MyPhotopipe.com, but it beats the heck out of Wal-Mart."
